29 of Project 365: Polish

My intention for 30 of Project 365 is to try out "Cloning" & "Painting with Light" but I didn't succeed because both required quite a fair bit of manual tuning and post-production editing. Finally gave up after more than an hour and decided to take other pictures but I seriously can't find anything to take in the house. Instead of doing spontaneous shoots of existing objects, I composed one myself and came up with this composition shot. Frankly this isn't as easy as it looked. Firstly I don't have a light-box so I have to improvish a bit, after which I played around with the different setting for exposure, colour, etc before I chose this picture.

I think my next project should be "DIY Light-Box" which I have researched on way back before I even started Project 365 but have yet to get round to it.

Oink, Oink!

I bought this cute little hand-powered torchlight in Harajuku for Yen 504. I also bought one for my brother-in-law. Beside a mascara, this is the only other thing I bought in Harajuku. I like such functional product with design factor. There's a switch to keep the light on and there's another switch to keep the pump locked in the body; simple and clever.

Who's issue is this?

I was looking at the photoblog of a kid when my colleague suddenly walked over and asked me "Who's issue is this?" when she meant who's kid is this? For a while I was also at a lost until I realised that she was still in work mode, hence the work lingo "issue" popped out.  I burst out laughing before she realised her "technical error" and we laughed at how funny it was.

So, how is your 7-month old issue doing?
