Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre
Natural Finish Loose Powder (Net 30g) in 20 Clair

When it comes to cosmetic & skincare products, I'm a fickle and adventurous consumer who likes to try different brands and products - most often before I finish any of the existing arsenal of products I already have. Which is why, it is a surprise when I realised that I've finished this loose powder from Chanel within the recommended 18M used-by date.
The only explanation is: I like this product enough to keep reaching for it. The finely milled powder matched my skin tone and it doesn't make me look pasty which is a common problem with powder products. It also has a light floral scent which is pleasing without being overwhelming.
I would definitely repurchase this product but that is only after I finished the existing loose powders I have stashed in my drawer. I can think of at least 4 - 5 other tubs from different brands like MAC, Laura Mercier, Kanebo, Natural Republic,.....

Les Exclusifs De Chanel

"What if we could capture time and hold it in a bottle, along with all of its treasures and promises? What if time - both past and future - was revealed from one bottle to another, until it was all held in a unique collection of fragrances? The time of CHANEL; time that comes back, if only to fly away again."

"Twelve identical bottles; twelve pure forms; luxurious simplicity: an expression of the genius of CHANEL. A collection of rare fragrances, composed in the past by Ernest Beaux - the exclusive perfume creator for Mademoiselle Chanel - and in the present by Jacques Polge - the "Master Perfumer" for the House. A way of reinvesting time and celebrating something that goes beyond fashion: the spirit of CHANEL."

Unboxing Beige from Les Exclusifs De Chanel.
Les Exclusifs De Chanel is only available at the Shoppes @ Marina Bay Sands.

This is by far the biggest bottle of perfume I owned at 200ml, but it's not the most expensive on a per ml basis. If you have read my earlier post, you would know when my love for perfume began.

It's always so pleasurable and enjoyable to shop at the flagship Chanel store at MBS because of the outstanding level of service. Shopping at the store is more than purely transactional, the Beauty Advisors would share the history & philosophy behind each product and this is where I had a taste of "going out of the way" service from the Beauty Advisors to provide the best shopping experience.

A special magnetic cap that ensures that the logo would stay align to the bottle.

160 of Project 365: Perfume

I still remember that my dad bought me my first perfume when I was in Primary 6.
We were doing our weekend shopping at NTUC FairPrice and I was looking at a row of Enchanteur perfume, powder & lotion. Suddenly, my dad came up to me & asked me to picked one. Frankly, I'm quite surprised by my dad's gesture, which I gladly obliged. And I've been hooked since that first bottle of perfume.
Nowadays, I never leave home without a spritz of my favourite scent. I'll feel uneasy & weird if I'm not wearing any perfume. So I make sure that I have a small vial which I carry around for occasions when I forgot to wear my perfume before leaving the house. Of course, there were still a couple of times when I have to live through the day "scentless" and I must say the experience was really tortuous.
Some of my favourites include Lanvin, Chloe, Chanel & Sarah Jessica Parker.

64 of Project 365: Rogue Coco Chanel

It has been quite a while since I used the 20mm pancake lens which has been gathering dust.
This is one of the most expensive lipsticks I've ever bought at $44 per pop. But I really like the color "Mademoiselle" and the faint rose scent.
