I went all the way to the floating stage hoping to catch a glimpse of the famous patented YOG flame but it was such a let down. The flame was almost blocked out of view by the steel structures surrounding it. For a while I actually thought I was at some industrial estate at Tuas.
Since I was already here, might as well take some pictures of the area. So here goes:
FYI: The road nearest to the stage area was toally barricaded, even the access to the Helix Bridge was closed. Really pissed off and don't understand why the bridge and the entire road was being blocked. It was so dangerous to walk on the road with cars zipping passed right next to us.
