Oink, Oink!

I bought this cute little hand-powered torchlight in Harajuku for Yen 504. I also bought one for my brother-in-law. Beside a mascara, this is the only other thing I bought in Harajuku. I like such functional product with design factor. There's a switch to keep the light on and there's another switch to keep the pump locked in the body; simple and clever.

Who's issue is this?

I was looking at the photoblog of a kid when my colleague suddenly walked over and asked me "Who's issue is this?" when she meant who's kid is this? For a while I was also at a lost until I realised that she was still in work mode, hence the work lingo "issue" popped out.  I burst out laughing before she realised her "technical error" and we laughed at how funny it was.

So, how is your 7-month old issue doing?

27 of Project 365: Mom's Flower Arrangement

Isn't this an interesting flower arrangement comprising of flowers of different seasons and a religious-looking flag? I wonder which sect it belongs too but it's unmistakably my mom's handiwork placed at a "fortune" spot" for good luck.

26 of Project 365: Going Up or Down?

Which way up or down? Without proper signs and indicators, one has to spend a few seconds to determine the right way to go. Have you ever gone to the wrong direction?

This wasn't the intended effect but I like the twirling red dotted line in the picture.

24 of Project 365: Retro Fan

I bought this retro fan from the Chatuchak Weekend Market in Thailand for S$50 more than 8 years ago. The fan is pretty noisy and doesn't provide much cooling comfort but I simply like such retro stuff which is the reason why I bought it in the first place.

23 of Project 365: Light as Feather

This feather reminds me of the movie "Forrest Gump", one of my all time favorite. If I remember correctly, the opening scene of the movie shows a drifting feather and Forrest Gump drawing parallel to life being "light as feather". Such great & profound movie is hard to come by these days. There are quite a few other classic lines such as "Life is like a box of chocolate; you'll never know what you'll get next".
