Doggy

Dogs are allowed in the Singapore Botanic Gardens but there are certain areas which are off limit and the dogs must be leashed at all times.
I saw a clueless owner who did not leash her dog and the dog went on to pick a fight with other dogs. This prompted the park personnel to remind the owner to leash up the dog.
There are also poo bags along the way on lamp post so that owners can pick up the poo and keep the park clean.

Heritage Trees

These were some of the Heritage Trees that I found.

Girl on a Bicycle

Girl on a Bicycle @ Singapore Botanic Gardens
My dad bought me a bicycle, a blue 2-wheeler, when I was in primary 4 as a reward for doing well in my exam. If I remember correctly, it cost more than $80 which was pretty expensive back in those days, more than 20 years ago. I never learnt to cycle on 4 wheels, because my neighbour who taught me to cycle had removed the extra wheels and progressed to a 2-wheeler by then so I had to learn it that way.
The pose with the 2 legs held up in front is a familiar one - that was what we did when careening down the slope.

Girl on a Swing

Love the happy smile on the girl's face.
The sculpture brought back a lot of happy childhood memories I had at the playground. The swing was one of my favourite. I always competed with my sis & friends to see who can swing the highest. Back in my days, the swing were made of rubber tyres.
Nowadays, do we still have swings at HDB playgrounds? Swings seems like part of the disappearing features of modern playground with padded ground.

Lady on a Hammock

The rain left streaky marks on the sculpture.
Isn't this the best way to spend a lazy afternoon with a great book or nothing else but your own thoughts on a hammock?
Huh, we have "Girl on a Swing" & "Girl on a Bicycle" so why not "Girl on a Hammock"?
