63 of Project 365: Chopsticks

I was holding the camera with my left hand taking this picture of myself holding the chopsticks.
My dad always insisted that we use chopsticks, be it at home or when we dine out. He will ask the waiter to change the plates, forks & spoons to bowls & chopsticks, without fail. To my dad, we as Chinese should always use chopsticks and bowls. Not only did he insist on using chopsticks he made sure that we do it the proper way, so both my sis & me had been taught since young the right way to use the chopsticks.
Not sure if such culture & practice will continue in a country like Singapore where learning one's mother-tongue has become a burden and the MOE is looking at reducing the weighting of mother-tongues in the PSLE.
