Notice posted at the entrance leading to the Daibutsu.

The little boy is so enthralled by the water that he is totally oblivious to his mom's constant beckoning.

The joss sticks used in Japan's shrines & shinto is different from those we usually see. It is a bundle of numerous short joss sticks.

I was eating a yam croquette while heading back to the train station when a crow scopped down from behind to snatch my food. It happened so quickly that I was a bit stunted by the impact from the crow which knocked my half-eaten croquette to the ground. So the next time you were eating on the road, keep a lookout for crows which is very common all over Tokyo, even in city area like Shinjuku.
