Thong Hup Gardens

My sis wanted to get some plants for her house so while they were busy hunting for the perfect plant, I occupied myself with taking pictures of the countless plants and flowers in the garden.
The place is so big and filled with so many different types of plants that I only know the name of a handful of plants and flowers. I almost had the whole place to myself because the place is really big so even with other customers around, we won't get into each other ways.
At the end of the visit, my sis bought the things she needed and I have my pictures and the perfect way to spend my afternoon in the midst of such beautiful blooms and greenery.

For those who are lucky to be able to keep a few plants in the office, do not keep a cactus just because it's a hardy plant which require minimal care, as it will actually invite back-stabbing, or other ill luck. Some might think that it is superstition,  like me when I first heard such saying, but personal experience had proven to be true so don't take the risk.

The perfect gift for your love ones.

A decorative butterfly to doll up the plant.

Baby's Breathe

My sis bought this white hibiscus. This is an interesting flower which will display its full bloom beautifully in the day but curl up and lay asleep at night.

Mimosa or more fondly known as Touch-Me-Not. This plant used to be commonly found along the side of the road or open field but nowadays I hardly see it anymore. The sight of this mimosa brought back many fond memories of childhood.
