A few words: Haw Par Villa was pretty well preserved, especially the paint of the statues which still look vibrant and not peeling and dull, as I would have imagined, considering the exposure to the elements & mankind.
It was like a trip down memory lane, although I can still recognise some of the trademark features, somehow there was this mixed feeling of familiarity and yet not really the same anymore. What surprised me was the number of visitors when I was there - there were tourists and also locals and shutterbugs like myself.
