Central Fire Station

Fireman pole. A lot of visitors might have missed this if they weren't paying attention. We've also forgotten to request for a demo using the pole to glide down from the second level.

First Response Paramedic are usually the first to arrive at the scene to provide immediate help & assess the situation before calling for more support.

Map detailing the areas under the purview of the Central Fire Station. The fire fighters must reached the areas within the pink boundary by 8 mins and those within the blue boundary by 11 mins. There are strict protocols to ensure quick response to calls.

The little blue colour gadget on the shoulder is the Personal Distress Device (PDD) meant to protect the fireman. The device will automatically sound off an alarm if it doesn't detect any movement in 8 seconds.

The window on the ground floor is where the watch room is located. The window allows the officer in charge to assess the traffic condition on the road when the need arise to change the traffic signal so that the ambulance or fire engine to leave the compond.
