First night in Shinjuku. Large billboard with temperature reading. We will walk pass the same place almost daily and check the day's temperature. I found Japan's meterological prediction on the daily news to be pretty accurate.

Butterfly Garden at Changi T3: It's almost 6 am  in the morning so I guess the butterflies were sleeping. I was expecting a garden filled with fluttering butterflies, so I was mildly disappointed when all we saw were butterflies resting on branches.

Walkabout at The Esplanade

I asked my colleague along with me during lunch for a walkabout to the Esplanade and captured some of these shots.

I found these 4 beautiful frangipani flowers on a bench outside the Asian Civilisation Museum. I didn't see any frangipani tree near the bench for the flowers to be blown onto the bench, so it's likely that someone has left it there.

This should be a familiar sight in every household. I still remember those days when my dad faithfully filled in the meter reading and mailed it back to PUB. Nowadays, how many still send in their own meter reading?

Take a seat

I found this bench outside the Asian Civilisation Museum. Everyone is seeking refuge under the cool canopy of trees while this bench is left untouched. Look at the shadow which is directly underneath the bench, can you make a guess the time of the day? I think no one relishes the possibility of a bottom-burn.
