Hort Park: Part 1

We parked our car at Harbourfront Centre and took a bus to the Hort Park. You won't miss it because you will see the Alexandra Arch and the sign announcing Hort Park is directly underneath the Alexandra Arch. I prefer taking this route and enjoy the short leisure walk from the main road to the Hort Park than to drive directly to the Hort Park. Along the way, the path is shady and you can see lots of floras too. Treat this as an appetisier for more to come!

Clear signs along the way to guide visitors to the right places.

Main entrance to Hort Park.

Water lily

Interesting plant with flowers between the nodes of each leaves.

Idyllic way to "swing" the weekend away.

Colourful mosaic painting to greet the visitors upon arrival.

A piece of quiet space next to Alexandra Distripark.

Tree with beard?!

This decorated egg laying under the bushes caught my eye as it was totally out of place. Could it be an easter egg left behind from past event?

Ample seats around the park for a short break and enjoy the surrounding.

Banana tree with long dangling flower. The length of the stem should be at least 2 meters.

Ways to recycle, reuse & reduce.

Compost maker: Dare not peep at what's inside.

Playground for kids.

What's this?

Dare to take a challenge of strength and balancing skill?

Where shall we start?

Scarecrow

When there's Scarecrow there must be Tin Man too, right?

Interesting tree. Wonder how it would look like in future.

Perfect symmetry of nature.
