Singapore Garden Festival 2010

Singapore Garden Festival 2010 @ Suntec Hall 4 & 6

Even the areas outside the exhibition halls were lined with many plants & flowers. We felt like we have entered paradise with the lush greenery & vabriant colours.

These 3 should be the mascots of the event: Beetle, grasshopper & bumble bee.

Cute orchid with a pouch.

V. coerulea

This must be the most interesting flower I've ever seen, it reminds me of a spider, but with more than 8 legs.

Cute miniatures.

We visited the Hall 4 followed by Hall 6. As you will notice the previous set of photos were brighter while the following will be darker as the lighting at Hall 6 was much dimmer.

The good thing about this exhibition was the available of seats to allow us to take a short break and rest our tired feet. The exhibition halls were really huge so it was really thoughful of the organisers to include such features.

One of the grouses I have must be the lighting. It was really tough to find a place to take pictures without the spot light shining directly in my direction or at odd angle from beneath the displays. The boards surrounding the exhibition area weren't build high enough so it hard to take a picture without the walls or ceiling of the hall.

The book shelves were made of paper. Amazing!
